From Just Great Software :EditPad Lite is a convenient text editor and Notepad replacement. It has all the features a solid text editor needs. You can open as many files at a time as you want, with no arbitrary file size limit. Each file will have its own tab. You can convert between ANSI, ASCII, and Unicode, and work with Unix and Mac files. You can search and replace across all open files. It has unlimited undo and redo and powerful print preview.

"Great Replacement For Notepad"
Pros: Simple interface, with many nice features. Much better that the MS Notepad that it replaces.

Pros: nice simple interface, works as a basic editor with a few advanced features not found in other editors. i like it and that it is easy to read and use. i would not use it as a programmers editor, but for the basics it is very nice. No complaints, or issues.
Cons: NONE that i can see right off hand.

"Could not make head nor tail of it"
Cons: Followed insts to the letter but gave up trying to get it to work. Was all excited at finding a replacement for the hopless Windows notepad, Will go and find my quill pen

"Quick, effective, great at group file editing"
Pros: Like the tabbed interface and ability to open and edit all files at once. Essentially, you can treat multiple files as if they are one.

"A fast word processor with TABs for open documents = Get EditLite NOW"
Pros: 1- very fast & reliable
2- A tab-bar showing each a tab, not window, for each open document. Where is that feature in OpenOfficeOrg or MS Word?
3- several features to view file easier
Cons: no spell checker with the free version.
