EZ-Stat for Excel, Data Presentation Products' statistical analysis add-in for Excel, comes bundled with its EZ-Format for Excel package, but it's also available as a stand-alone add-in. EZ-Stat's whole purpose is to save you time and money by automating common statistical tasks and helping you extract more useful information out of the results. It simplifies and automates calculations in many common Excel formulas. It will calculate only selected formulas in selected rows, making precision analysis a breeze. You can compare results in various sort fields, such as Sales and Cost figures by Region or Product Line. It performs calculations independently of the original Excel worksheet formatting, preserving your data and saving tons of formatting time.

EZ-Stat integrates smoothly into the Excel Add-ins Ribbon. It opens with a colorful Excel document that does a fine job of explaining the program's main functions and linking to some handy demos walking users through each feature's steps. Links to tables and definitions of the 29 Excel Mathematical Formulas EZ-Stat handles further simplify the daunting task of formatting in Excel. There are several new features, including Pause/Activate, which lets you temporarily unload the software maker's add-ins without a complete uninstall. It also adds two new Excel Formula Fields imported from the maker's EZ-Calc add-in, Aged Date and Reformatted Date.

EZ-Stat for Excel is free to try for 15 days, though some features are disabled. The full version comes with free lifetime upgrades and enhancements. We recommend it for all users.

EZ-Stat instantly calculates up to 29 commonly used Excel Mathematical Formulas. Calculations are independent of the Excel worksheet formatting. Select from Sum, Count, Average, Mean, Min, Max, Range, Rank, Stddev and 20 additional standard Excel formulas. Only selected formulas are automatically calculated for selected numeric fields. Calculations use the data in all rows, all rows for one non-numeric value, a contiguous range of rows or the rows in any Excel subtotal. Without modifying the original worksheet formatting calculate and compare formula results at every change in the last of up to four sort fields. For example, quickly compare selected Excel formulas for Sales and Cost figures by Region and Product Line or by Product Line and Region with no modifications to the original worksheet's formatting. With up to four sort fields, for one or more numeric fields, for up to 24 standard Excel formulas, the possible combinations are limited only to your imagination. All EZ-Stat functions are built into EZ-Format for Excel for use with EZ-Format formatted worksheet data.

What's new in this version: Version 9.1 adds new menu options for Purchasing, Activating, Re-Registering, Self-Registering and checking on the Status of the Add-in (Trial, Expired, or Registered); reduces required calculation times. Automatic removal of Excel Toolbar and Ribbon when required Registry entries are missing. Includes fixes, enhancements and improved install for Excel 2007 / 2010.
