Dream Calculator is a spreadsheet-based do-it-yourself comprehensive personal financial planning software, which allows you to optimize your investment portfolio in order to maximize the value of your personal goals, such as buying a home or saving money for a comfortable retirement. It can also help you in the matters of personal budgeting, financial decision-making, and determining your life insurance needs. Dream Calculator relies on various fundamental financial concepts, such as cash budgeting, time value of money, risk vs. return, and modern portfolio theory. There are two parts to our financial planning process. First, the software matches your financial assets with your financial goals, indicating the goals that can realistically be met. Second, it gives you specific investment advice aimed at achieving the goals. Version 2006 has the current update represents the new annual (2006) version of the software.
