If you're into pay-for-use screensavers, it's hard to imagine that there's a better looking one around than Dream Aquarium. Limited to only two fish species in the trial version, the full version sports 18 species for all you ichthymaniacs out there. However, there are no other handicaps, and users can take advantage of the well-drawn and well-animated options for everything from oxygen bubbles to tank background to the camera and animation speed.
There's some neat additional controls, as well: Users can feed the fish, and they can change the animation from 3D-renderings to wireframe. Our most recent XP tests didn't see the flickering we noticed in past past evaluations, though such flickering was noted during tests on Vista machines, indicating that there may be a coding issue and not a graphics card concern. Nevertheless, this is still a screensaver that's sure to relax and entertain.

Version: Dream Aquarium Screensaver 1.104
Pros: I love how the images are so clear. Although I haven't downloaded yet, I'm already enjoying the way it looks on the screen shots. So pretty, and hopefully there's sounds to it too. I love the sound of ocean :)

Version: Dream Aquarium Screensaver 1.104
Pros: I love two aquarium screen savers, this is one of them and because it's been updated to run on "Vista" it's my favorite. "Marine Aquarium 2.6 + Time" is the other but as usual, it's not offered at download.com, yet and not fully compatible with "Vista". Unfortunately, the free trial has to many limitations to really see it's full value, but the full version is fantastic. It offers different tanks, many real life fresh water tropical fish and it's very customizable. It even has the option to feed the fish. If an aquarium screen saver is what you are looking for, this one is great and cheap enough to buy. It's just well designed for a screen saver.
Cons: Limited free trial is my only con. Maybe more people would invest in it if the trial was full.

Version: Dream Aquarium Screensaver 1.104
Pros: Just downloaded the trial version for my Windows Vista PC. I must say, it looks so real. I currently use the paid versions of Marine Aquarium 2.6 + Time from serenescreen.com, Goldfish Aquarium 2.0 and Sharks 2 from Lifeglobe.com, which are all realistically impressive themselves, but this Dream Aquarium screensaver is a welcomed addition. I will continue to evaluate for the next week or two and then decide to purchase or not. One other thing to note about the trial is that the advertisement to buy that pops up once in a while goes away after a few seconds, so its not as intrusive. Other trial softwares, usually will leave those pop-ups on your screen permanently after running the software for a minute or so. If you are into these type of screensavers as I am, this appears one that is to be seriously considered as an addition. Is like the real thing and you don't have to clean it or worry about feeding the fish (-;
Cons: None, except maybe, I wish it was free (-:

Version: Dream Aquarium Screensaver 1.104
Pros: You choose what you want it to do. What kind of fish - what kind of aquarium. I like that!
Cons: Nothing so far!

Version: Dream Aquarium Screensaver 1.104
Pros: Liked that you could add fish, but they were very stingy on the trial. Would have liked to see more of what the software could do before purchasing. They only let you add a couple of fish.
Cons: Color was TOO greenish..background very "staged" looking. Have seen better...
Personally...wouldn't waste the money.
