Version: DownloadStudio 2.1
Pros: I hated this program. My first thoughts, were wow - but as time stretched on, I got more and more annoyed to the point of thanking my computer for crashing (jee I wonder why) so I could run in safe mode and uninstall it. Pros? I couldn't think of any, except after the runtime files keep reporting an error - I downloaded the previous 5, which has made my computer run faster, so thanks for that.
Cons: Where to I start. First of all let me say this is an honest review on my part of what happened on my computer. Firstly I was a little suprized at the SIZE of the toolbar the program installs in Firefox - meaningless when the program sits in the icon tray. The interface is bloated and looks more complicated than it should be.
It claims to pickup all downloads! well when I went to download a program from this very site, DownloadStudio failed...this with that oversuffed Toolbar and the rightclick menu - it attempted to download the html page - how lame. Oh and as for streaming media - couldn't find the link either. In comparison with IDM which installs nothing so obvious such as a toolbar to intergrate itself within Firefox, picks up embedded media and programs without any hassel - Download Studio lacks the HASSEL FREE download options that everyone should have at install - I will only configure so much, then get annoyed at the utter slackness of the programming. One final note - took 2 attempts to uninstall it - then left it's file in Program Files, the worst thing a sloppy program uninstall can do in my opinion.

"Easy to use, yet will download many types of files vey fast."
Pros: This product does a great job downloading files of many types including audio and video.
Cons: After using for a few weeks the program failed (bug in program). But tech support was prompt in responding to the problem (will be corrected in the next version).
