"Best download manager for Firefox?"
Pros: Fully-integrated download manager for Firefox - works as an extension - no need or external software or for an additional extension to integrate into context menu. Very fast, as fast as any external application I've tried. Reliable, excellent resume handling. Very neat file handling allows the user to choose either one default location (e.g. Desktop) or to select a location for each download (e.g. for downloading music files), and to switch between these options at will. The filtering (to download all of a specific file type from a page) works better than anything else I've tried.
Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike, unless it's the prominent button for donations! (But this is so good, you can't blame them for asking...)

Version: DownThemAll 0.9.9.7
Pros: Amazing speeds, downloaded 60MB in just around 5 minutues. It also looks simple- can be a little confusing at first. Also allows you to pause downloads- With the main Firefox download manager, I found pausing a download them resuming it would force the download to complete even if only at something like 5% complete- DownThemAll doesn't do this.
Cons: Would be perfect if it offered Torrent downloads. Also doesn't work for some sites e.g. RapidShare and also sites which use their own built in- needed- download manager.

"Does not work while downloading images."
Cons: Just copies the Thumbnails of the images not the actual images. There used to be another firefox add on - ImageDownloader it seems that is withdrawn with new version of firefox and this add one doesn't work at all.
