CNET Editors' review
If you work with Microsoft Office documents, you'll never achieve the status of true mobile employee without an office viewing-and-editing suite like Documents To Go. The premium build goes beyond the free, standard version to let you edit and create Office documents, like Word files and Excel spreadsheets. Documents To Go Premium Edition 2.0 adds four new features since the previous version. There's a file browser to delete, rename, and copy and paste all the Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF files across the Documents To Go sub-apps. There's also an enriched PDF To Go app with tools to find and copy text, save as, e-mail a file, and add a bookmark. Tying up a few loose ends, the update now lets you open password-protected Microsoft Word and Excel files that were created in Microsoft Office 2007, and in other Office documents stretching back to Office 97.
When you do return home from your wanderings, you can sync the phone to a desktop app through a USB cable. That spells an end to what was previously a purely manual doc management system between the mobile and desktop, but we'd love to see over-the-air syncing added next.
Publisher's Description
From DataViz:
Finally, there is a way to create new documents and edit files and attachments on your smartphone. This is a must-have for the mobile user needing to open, view, and edit Office files and view PDF files while on the go. Whether it's a file from your PC or an email attachment, Documents To Go lets you use your files the same way you do on your desktop computer. It's so easy. What's new in this version: Version 2.0 adds a desktop sync manager, a file browser tool, enhancements to PDF To Go, and the ability to view password-protected Office files.

"Documents To Go"
Version: Documents To Go Premium Edition (BlackBerry) 2.0
Pros
This would be a good productivity program if there was better support from DataViz
Cons
Poor Customer Service from DataViz. Program is sometimes incompatible with earlier program versions. I have Version 7 and purchased Version 11 of Documents To Go and experienced file incompatibility issues.
Summary
I have used Documents To Go Premium Edition for my Palm T/X and not on a Blackberry so I am very familiar with the program. I had a very poor relationship with receiving support from DataViz on my purchase of the company's Version 11 of Documents To Go. The company's website claims you can re-download the program upon initial purchase. I was not able run the download program on Windows Vistas. I spent many hours trouble-shooting the program on my lap top.

"Way over priced for the paid version."
Version: Documents To Go Premium Edition (BlackBerry) 2.0
Pros
The idea is good, but...
Cons
They aren't there yet. Hard to use, arcane directions.
Spending a bundle of money to do intense word processing or spreadsheet work on a tiny blackberry is daunting. Creating fully formatted number and word-rich documents is almost impossible.Summary
Keep working on it. It's not ready for prime time, but has a good idea.
