Disk Ranger is a disk cataloging utility for the Macintosh and Macintosh PowerPC computers. It will quickly catalog all of the files and folders of all of your disks. Make disk labels - design your own. Search for files by name or search file contents for a key word or phrase.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed dates so that year 2000 etc. will show on screen, be printed and saved into TEXT files. Note that this does not require you to recatalog any disks. This just fixes the display and other output to show the year plus century, such as 02/11/1999 and 02/11/2000. This puts all dates in the same format (2 digitls for month, 2 for the day and 4 for the year). This allows for easier sorting in with spreadsheet and database programs - after saving as a TEXT file
