Though it's fairly easy to use, this small utility that creates desktop shortcuts to the Web merely duplicates what Windows already does. The only difference is you can add an icon with Desktop Web Link. While you can easily right-click to create the Windows shortcut, you'll need to find this program's simple executable file as it doesn't install or create its own shortcuts. Enter the site's URL, type a name and, if you like, choose an icon. The standard IE icon is the default. No Help file is included with this tiny application, but one isn't necessary. There's no added functionality offered by Desktop Web Link, and even though it's freeware, there's no compelling reason to even download it.Publisher's description
From SoftZWare :Add unlimited desktop icons to any Windows desktop linked to any Web site. This shortcut is a time saver and is a great way to organize your most often visited Web sites. It is extremely easy to operate and you can delete shortcuts you've created anytime.
