From The Weather Channel Interactive :Desktop Weather by The Weather Channel is an application that displays real-time weather information for 80,000 locations worldwide, right on your desktop. It can display the current temperature for the city of your choice, reside in your computer's system tray, and graphically display the forecast for the next 12 hours. It also features a slide show view of local and national (U.S. only) maps and delivers local severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service.
