From Deskslide.com :Desk Slide is a free utility for automating the wallpaper change on your Windows Desktop.You can specify the interval in Seconds, Minutes, Days, Weeks, Months, at Logon or Manual. You can increase the flexibility of the scheduling by using the Manual mode and do your scheduling in the Windows task scheduler.The path to the slides are stored in a text file. This file is read from top to bottom, so you can arrange the queue to meet your needs. This version only supports Windows bitmaps.
