Publisher's description
From Kevin Solway :Delete files that are difficult to delete, such as some files left by viruses and trojans, or files with corrupted file names. This program can also delete files like the index.dat files, which store Internet history, by scheduling them for deletion upon system restart. All you have to do is choose a file to delete from a built-in file browser or just drag a file to the program window from Explorer. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Version: Delete Doctor 2.2
Pros: simple, efective, low footprint, portable
Cons: ugly interface window
-
Version: Delete Doctor 2.2
Cons: I should be able to select a directory (like temp) and have it delete what it can and make the rest for deletion on restart automaticly.
-
Version: Delete Doctor 2.2
Pros: There's no install. The file wasn't compressed or anything. I was able to delete the broken avi file that was causing the problem without rebooting or anything. I'm betting in some cases you would need to use the delete on reboot
Cons: because it didn't have an installer, it also wasn't added to the right mouse click menu for files. I had a program that was installed like this and was the one I was looking for when I found this one.
I have no idea how this would really work with infected files or active virus files, but when the Task Manager is disabled from a virus, I'm wondering if this would work in its place to remove the offending file. If it does, that'd really be great.

Version: Delete Doctor 2.2
Pros: Gets rid of things that just won't go. I get things stuck in folders that say they are being used by another program or automaticaly reappear after deletion. This gets rid of them on reboot.
Cons: The're are no Cons.
Summary: Small foot-print. Simple interface. Tells you if a delete option doesen't apply. Easy!
