This basic and free alarm clock does exactly what it's supposed to, as long as you don't expect anything groundbreaking. Daily Alarm Clock lets you set two alarms for each day of the week, though you won't be able to set any more than that. The program can alert you by playing a WAV file or a CD track, or by launching a user-specified application. However, if you need to append notes or reminders to alarms, you should look elsewhere, as this program doesn't offer that functionality. The application's interface is rather dry and bland, though it is extremely easy to figure out. Folks seeking a basic alarm clock will appreciate this software's simplicity and price, but demanding users will need to keep looking.

    Version: Daily Alarm Clock 2

    "Great!"

    by islah88 on April 28, 2008

Pros: It's the best alarm clock I've used so far. All the other free alarm clocks except Karen's Alarm Clock didn't work on my laptop. It's easy and simple to set it up.

Although some might say that it's troublesome to set up alarms for each day manually, I think it's actually a great option because most college students like me would like to wake up according to my class schedule. In a week, we usually start our class at different time most days. So, it is great to be able to sleep in on the day we start up late.

But then again, it's a waste of time (only at the beginning) if you have the same routine everyday..

I notice that people can only set up three alarms for each day, which, is not my concern at the moment.. :)

Great job, guys! Keep it up!

    "Uhh, does it work?"

by sayzta on March 11, 2008

Pros: It's very cool! I love the "Verify Consciousness" feature! The Nasa Shuttle launch default sound is interesting. Oh, and you can also have the volume fade in - very nice! It is all great but one thing....

Cons: ...Call me stupid, but I don't think it works.

P.S: I really wish it did...

    Version: Daily Alarm Clock 2

"liked version 1.11. Was quite upset to see this fail."

by Carl Marx on March 15, 2009

Pros: This allows you to set multiple alarms for the same day and you can select different sounds for the different days if you so please.

Cons: It no longer works. It used to work flawlessly, but now with this new version instead of getting my alarm to go off it just throws an error. This is not so useful at waking someone up since it doesn't actually make any noise when it throws the error.

Summary: It used to be amazing software that I would recommend to anyone and everyone but now he has taken on some sponsorship or something and his program no longer works.

Hopefully it is just a vista x86-64 problem and people with XP can still u... read more >>

    "Useless and unusable"

    by adanedhel728 on September 25, 2008

Pros: You don't have to play an mp3 or anything else so specific, but you can run any kind of file or program you want, which is why I downloaded this one.

Cons: It freezes up whenever the program is supposed to go off, rendering the program completely useless.
