The settings in the free version are still pretty cool and change the music experience to a good extent
Cons
Real difference in output can be appreciated with good quality external speakers, or better a 2.1 with sub-woofer (at least), which gives the 'boom' effect. Tried using it with the in-built, but good quality speakers on my laptop, not very happy :(

Summary
I enjoyed this product for several years. After tiring of being nagged to update every time I started the program, I gave in and used the update button on the product skin. The site downloaded the update version but provided a version that overwrote my existing good product with a "light" version of the update. This light version did not sound good and did not permit adjustment pending entering a new serial number. I received purchase confirmation by email that promised another email soon with the necessary serial number. The new serial number was never sent. I received no response from the customer service site other than the automated false promise that I would receive a response within two business days. No response ever received despite repeated attempt. The online serial number retrieval page refused to recognize the purchase number that was provided. I have since removed the product from my computer and will not do further business with this company.
Do not patronize this company or any other company with such horrendous customer service practices. -
