CNET Editors' review
Built around a gorgeous, newly overhauled interface, this free, GPL-licensed FTP browser is a lean, mean file-managing machine. CyberDuck can communicate with standard FTP volumes as well as the more secure SFTP. The application easily manages bookmarks with an OS X-styled drawer. We like the quick-connect drop-down, which allows you to pop into recently accessed or bookmarked servers in a snap. We generally found both up and downstream file transfers to be speedy. While Cyberduck can be seen as limited in terms of functionality due to its entry-level nature, the program handles basic tasks with ease. We recommend CyberDuck to anyone looking for a solid FTP browser.Publisher's Description
From Cyberduck:
Cyberduck is an open source SFTP (SSH Secure File Transfer) and FTP browser licenced under the GPL. It has been built from the ground up with usability in mind, having the same consistent graphical user interface for both SFTP and FTP browsing. Multiple connections are supported. Drag and drop is supported consequently for transferring files between server and client. A transfer queue keeps track of the pending file transfers and supports resuming of both downloads and uploads. A simple bookmark manager ensures manageability. Core system technologies such as the Keychain and Rendezvous are supported. Cyberduck integrates seamlessly with external editors such as SubEthaEdit and BBEdit. Cyberduck has been translated into numerous languages including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch and Finnish.

"Simple. Clean. Effective."
Version: Cyberduck 2.3.3
Pros
I've used other FTP clients at school and used to associate the acronym with 'overly complicated headache' but this makes the whole process (process?... who are we kidding?) really simple.
Cons
It costs a ton of money- Oh wait, it doesn't cost a thing.
Summary
Sign in to your bookmarked servers, open a folder in the target server, open a folder on your home machine, and drop a file in. You can see files you've downloaded or uploaded in a Transfers window and rearrange files on the target server. Simplicity. Also love the duck icon (of course I'm quite partial- I went to a school with a duck mascot).

"Great, simple ftp client"
Version: Cyberduck 2.3.3
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Worked for me right out of the box. And when I contacted the author for a version that was Jaguar compatible, he replied within 12 hrs with version 2.3.3.
Very very happy!
Only minor glitch was a scary error message on uploading about being unable to CHMOD the file permissions. Not sure why this is there, but the upload worked fine. -
"Very nice!"
Version: Cyberduck 2.3.3
Pros
Awesome program. I have found few FTP clients that I really like on the Apple OS X platform, but I Love this one. Works like a charm.
I prefer to donate money, rather than be required to pay a certain "registration" amount, and this product deserves a donation.
I recommed this product to anyone looking for a good FTP client for Apple OS X. - THANKS Cyberduck

"satisifed daily 2.3.3 user"
Version: Cyberduck 2.3.3
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I've been using the app for about 6-8 months now through various versions. I found earlier versions buggy but useful enough and had settled down on 2.3.3. I finally decided I ought to contribute to it so I came back to Version Tracker just to make sure there were no other applications that might be worth checking out. I'm not going to bother with the other top downloaded since this is free (though I still will donate to support the folks) and it does everything I need very well. Here are the features that I like:
supports multiple sites open at the same time
supports up & download of folders
good status indication
supports active and passive modes
The only thing I don't like:
always confirms disconnect when quitting even if not active up/down occurring.
I'll check out the latest 2.4 build to see how it is but I'm almost completely satisfied with 2.3.
I use it daily to up and downloaded files of all types and sizes. I was so curious about crashes I checked my logs. I had one crash of 2.3.3 in the last 2 months and the last crash before that was 2.3.3 -
"Cyberduck rocks!"
Version: Cyberduck 2.3.3
Summary
Cyberduck is an incredible program. I was trying to figure out how to use FTP to build a website, and this program made it incredibly easy to learn. I highly recommend this program to anyone, no matter how much they know about FTP.

"great when it's not frozen"
Version: Cyberduck 2.3.3
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I'm pretty torn on this one:
It's a great piece of (FREE!) software, slick interface, gets the job done. In theory this would be a great general purpose FRP client. In theory.
Here's the hang up though: it's not very stable. Which means it's great until it hangs, and then you have to relaunch and do whatever you were doing over again. Also, I've had trouble with the download restarting function, it hasn't really worked for me.
BUT I still use Cyberduck most of the time, despite the frustration. Bottom line is that it's the best piece of FTP freeware for OS X I've found so far.
