"Beautiful Publisher's description but it does not work!"
Cons: After installation, the program did NOT work, it did not launched! so I caontacted CyberLink, they instructed me to: remove my Avti virus, remove my Fire wall, close any runing program, reduce my screen to 1024X768, reduce screen to 16 bit color.... ahh, who needs that kind of software... thank you NO!

"PDR6 is very good in multimedia softwares."
Pros: Transitions and Video Filters are very good.
Cons: Some more timelines are required.

Pros: Easy to use, lots of special effects, lots of tools, feature rich (more than I have had time to explore), VERY COOL effects and transitions, I had so much fun creating a vacation video unlike anything I've every done! You get a lot of bang for your buck here, it totally blows Ulead out of the water! It takes a lot of memory to run video editing software so anyone that thinks this is slow needs to upgrade their RAM. I have 1GB of ram and plan to get 2 Gigs of the fastest ram my motherboard can handle. But is ran just find with 1 Gig. It never froze up or crashed, I just like a fast computer.
Cons: I am visually impaired so it would be nice of the Fonts were bigger on everything so that I could read it better. Same thing goes for the video preview, wish it could be made bigger. Other than that it is a great program for less than a hundred bucks.

"This is an interesting product, no meters on volume, sill working with it."
Pros: I like the importing of this software, very quick and easy to import video files.
Cons: It could be built a little more on a professional level.
But I understand that it is built for entry level.
Not a bad product to begin learning ..
I like it.

Pros: I paid for it and, it DID install OK, but after that....
Cons: ...I found it will not run on Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I get just the splash screen and then it stalls forever. Maybe I should wait for vers. 7. The newer companion software CyberLink Power DIRECTOR 5 ULTRA does run well on Vista Ultimate 64-bit and seems stable.
