The freeware PDF writer opts for ease over customization with a one-step conversion app that works its will over any printable document. Once installed, pressing Print and selecting CutePDF Writer as a printer choice allows you to save the newly-made PDF anywhere in your file system. While we found the process flawless, advanced users who enjoy rolling up their sleeves for configuring greater DIY control should keep looking. Folks whose needs are more basic have in CutePDF Writer a fine choice.

"Will not install on my 64 bit Windows 7 computer."
Pros: Works great on my 32 bit Vista computer.
Cons: Struggled for an hour to install on 64 bit Windows 7 computer. No luck. I reviewed the CutePDF technical support page and the FAQs.

Pros: Converts files to PDF format without any difficulties.
Cons: None at this point.

Pros: It does exactly what it says it does. I use it to keep a record of online payments. PDF is so much easier to deal with than html etc.
Cons: Sometimes pages which I want saved as 1 document is saved as separate files.
