Version: Cute FTP Home 7.1
Pros: A good set of options and a very powerful, quick and moderately stable client. Lots of things make up the interface to present a wide set of controls and availability to the user. Nice name!
Cons: The clutter of the interface makes it a little confusing and overwhelming when you just want to upload things - in my opinion a slightly smoother and sleeker interface with options more neatly arrange would make for a more satisfying program. Crashes every now and then which is very annoying so a little more stability in the program would make it a lot more desirable.

Version: Cute FTP Home 7.1
"Would be excellent software if not one serious flaw"
Pros: Easy to use, less fast than FTP Voyager, but still OK. Has built in HTML Editor! Nice. Built in working Thumbnail view! Great.
Cons: The drop-down folder browser for local files is not too bad, but I find the browser in FTP Voyager better. Another serious problem. By doubleclicking on any file Cute FTP starts FTP transfer. This can't be changed in Settings. Not necessary a problem, but if you have a link to a local folder and try to open that folder in Cute FTP by doubleclicking the shortcut, it starts the FTP transfer. I only keep this program because of the editor and thumbnail view, otherwise FTP Voyager is clear winner and better than Cute FTP.

Version: Cute FTP Home 7.1
Pros: I have been using CuteFTP 4.2.3 for years. I am happy with it. The main features I wanted from version 7 are: (1) Thumbnail view (2) Bookmarks for local/remote sites. I see these as great add-ons.
Cons: Unfortunately the AUTO-REFRESH (after uploading a file to the remote server) is not working although I have checked Global Options - Navigation - Auto refresh after uploading ..... I tested both the Home and Pro version. I even closed/reopened the program. The remote site never refreshed itself. So after uploading a new file, you don't see it in the list. Also, I find it unstable. The program halted a couple of times when I tested it. All these never happened to to version 4.2.3 which I will stick on to.
