i have this game and i can tell you the way your villages act its like you only have to build buildings and give the villages jobs and they can look after themselfs and the campain missions are sweet
its so addictive
Upgradations from Extrators to respective fields are really good. Good town planning and required basic needs.
1)It was just a demo!!!
2)Why do soilders run away from battlefield to eat food??????
3)Demo version did not have any scenario combining town creation & military activities.
Cultures has a great story line first of all. the game play is fun and the sound track is excellent. the graphics are among the best you can get for this type of game and the year it was made. recomended for all RTS/Buliding gamers.
great game but the controls are tricky till you figure them out just use the tutorials and you'll get them quick enough to have some fun.
It was really difficult to figure out how to play the game. Whenever I would do something wrong, it would beep but wouldn't tell me what was wrong so that I could learn from my mistake. The help files are almost completely useless.
The graphics are a little toonish, but that's not always a bad thing. Though you do not directly control what your villagers do, you are in charge of their well being. The game runs smooth supporting nearly no end of villagers. (I'm talking 200+ little villagers running around and carrying out actions at the same time.) The music is fitting to the viking setting, and realism is their with the birds, bears, dogs, and voices along with other sound effects. While you won't understand what they are saying, it's not hard with the dialog display above, and little symbols displayed above their heads. The drawbacks...well...finding players to play multiplayer is near impossible, and the vikings do have a small tendency to screw up what you want them to do, or get killed by themselves.
This is good, though you might want to wait for the full version to arrive.
This game is a good variation on most other games because it is more realistic than other games. It is more based on micromanagement that combat but that doesn't matter
