CNET Editors' review
This polished game soups up the classic Jezzball arcade title and adds an outer-space twist. In Cosmic Bugs, your goal is to box off areas of the gameboard, trapping the aliens inside a small space to destroy them. The nicely designed space background and 3D graphics add to the game's appeal. At first, Cosmic Bugs seems simple, but as you progress levels, more and more enemies appear, making it tough to contain them all. We wouldn't call the game's feature set gigantic, but you can at least disable the futuristic soundtrack and play in windowed mode. The one-hour trial period isn't the most generous we've ever seen but should give you enough time to decide whether it's worth your money. Fans of Jezzball, Qix, or both will find that Cosmic Bugs nicely updates a tried-and-true formula.Publisher's Description
From SpinTop Games:
Cosmic Bugs takes its cue from the addictive classics Jezzball and Qix. But that's where the similarity ends, because Cosmic Bugs has different shapes for each level, 3D rendered graphics, digital sound, new enemies, and tons of power-ups. The game features over 500 levels. It's easy to control and fun to play. Version 1.01a may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
