The uniqueness of it is that it shows the temperature of each individual core in a each processor in your system. You can see in real time how the CPU temperature varies when you load your CPU.

Version: Core Temp 0.99
"My vote for the best little utility"
Pros: Gives seperate readings for each core on my Core 2 Due T7200 with temperatures on the taskbar. In the details, one of the very few to give CPU load percentages for each core. This give you the opportunity to balance your load using Process Lasso (also free).
Cons: This does everything it's supposed to do very well

Version: Core Temp 0.99
Pros: This is the first software I have found that can tell me the temperature of my Athlon64 3200 on my Asus cool and quiet motherboard with 32bit Vista. I have been trying to find this fascility for ages now. Does the job. Sits in the system tray telling you how hot your cpu is running. Brill.

Version: Core Temp 0.99
"works great, XP media & Vista"
Pros: easy isntall & setup, no pro. at all. (Vista has UAC disabled). Kaspersky & spybot asked for& got OK, takes av. 1000 k memory, 0 CPU, No spyware detected yet.
Cons: could give more info, but what it does, it does well. It "may" be giving low reading on Vista,Athlon64 4400+,2.4gx2. however, still usefull for comparison of sys. changes
Summary: Worth using, low draw, in both these machines I'm more interested in temp. change than actual numbers. I run No A/C in area, try to keep macines cool, and try different methods. The XP rig is a laptop, used often outside FL, & is very vulnerable... read more >>
