Publisher's description
From Arthur Liberman :Core Temp is a compact, no fuss, small footprint program to monitor CPU temperature. The uniqueness of it is that it shows the temperature of each individual core in a each processor in your system. You can see in real time how the CPU temperature varies when you load your CPU.
Version 0.99.5 has fixed incorrect clock speeds reported on some systems and properly detect Atom and Core i7 engineering samples.

Version: Core Temp (32-bit) 0.99.5
Pros: does what it says it will do. Simple continuous readout at base of screen
Cons: A bit confusing to understand how to set the critical temp cut point.
Summary: I have a factory heat sink and added a faster CPU. The new heat sink/fan would not fit my motherboard. I was worried about overheating the new quad core that replaced my duel core. Once I had the setting correct with core temp iIno longer worry.

Version: Core Temp (32-bit) 0.99.5
"Very light weight tool to monitor temperature."
Pros: Monitors temperature without effecting the overall performance of the system. Very accurate, cross checked with Motherboard bios temperature. Starts normally with windows.
Cons: The Second core temperature is always fixed @ 58 degree Celsius. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz.
If anybody has explanation for this, please mail me @ abhishek.s.dey@aol.inSummary: The tool i was looking for a long time. Must grab this product.

"INFECTED WITH SWIZZOR_B15 Trojan per SONICWALL FIREWALL"
Pros: Great Utility (Past Versions) and would probably still be if it did not include a TROJAN
Cons: INFECTED WITH SWIZZOR_B15 Trojan per SONICWALL FIREWALL
Summary: INFECTED WITH SWIZZOR_B15 Trojan per SONICWALL FIREWALL

Version: Core Temp (32-bit) 0.99.5
"I'd give it 5 stars if I could load it at start-up."
Pros: It does exactly what its name suggests; lets you keep tabs on the Core Temp.
Cons: Won't load at start-up, but that's a small issue.
Summary: It helped me diagnose and fix a fan related problem.

Version: Core Temp (32-bit) 0.99.5
Pros: It really does do what is says. gives a reading of the core temps though I have no real way to tell just how accurate it is I tend to believe that is. I have another utility which gives the same results.
Cons: It has some bugs like not being able to be in the start up even as administrator, etc. I just launch it when i want so no real issue.
Summary: It is exactly what I was looking for, just a simple way to monitor the core temps on this laptop. It tends to run hot when the room temp is in the 80s . It runs, it seems, more than 20degress hotter than when the room /ambient temp is in the 70s. I... read more >>
