Core FTP Lite is a top-notch freeware FTP client, with a wide, uncluttered layout to keep things organized. Easy to use and lacking only the most advanced of features, like multisite connections, Core FTP is a must-have.
Major functions such as Site Manager for maintaining connection information, Quick Reconnect, and mode switching are given big buttons on the toolbar. When you're connected to a site, though, the file-management pane also replicates buttons for most of these functions so you don't have to mouse very far to use the tool you need. The client supports all essential FTP functions, including multiple transfers, secure protocols, configurable ASCII uploading for specified file types, browser integration, and more.
There are few downsides to using this app. There's no scheduler. Some users have noted past stability issues, both in general and when conducting large transfers, but it seems that many older bugs have been worked out. We noticed no problems during our tests and strongly recommend Core FTP Lite.

Pros: Its, FREE. Has all the features anybody is likely to need. Easy to use good GUI
Cons: Nothing to say yet!
Summary: After having used FileZilla for a longtime, recently I have been some really annoying problems with its latest build. I decided to give this littlle app a try, and have not yet been dissapointed. This is now my no.1 FTP app on PC.

"DONT DOWN LOAD THIS Warning!"
Pros: I used this for 2 different times for and each time some mal ware was put into the index page. This has only happened when I used Core FTP. I Bet this has happened a lot.
Cons: Get your site hacked big one.

"Doesn't Support Downloading to Alternate Drives"
Pros: Can't think of any.
Cons: I need to download a 100gb file, but this client crashes when I attempt to select a drive other than C to download to.
Summary: Bad programming. Even worse Q&A.
