Core FTP Lite is a top-notch freeware FTP client, with a wide, uncluttered layout to keep things organized. Easy to use and lacking only the most advanced of features, like multisite connections, Core FTP is a must-have.
Major functions such as Site Manager for maintaining connection information, Quick Reconnect, and mode switching are given big buttons on the toolbar. When you're connected to a site, though, the file-management pane also replicates buttons for most of these functions so you don't have to mouse very far to use the tool you need. The client supports all essential FTP functions, including multiple transfers, secure protocols, configurable ASCII uploading for specified file types, browser integration, and more.
There are few downsides to using this app. There's no scheduler. Some users have noted past stability issues, both in general and when conducting large transfers, but it seems that many older bugs have been worked out. We noticed no problems during our tests and strongly recommend Core FTP Lite.

Pros: Free, relatively small footprint (5.16 MB), Memory 3,306 k, Easy Interface, gui
Cons: Waiting 3 seconds for it to launch as the banner is displayed, gui
Summary: Not a bad FTP client. Waiting for the banner to count down is pretty annoying if 3 seconds bother you. The GUI is neither pretty nor ugly, it's just meh. But the memory usage isn't so bad. It works though, so I'm happy. 4 Stars

Pros: Very easy to set up with Stable, Fast and Reliable transfers. Highly Recommended
Cons: I cant find any reason to dislike this programme.

"GET THIS ONE, IT WORKS, ITS EASY, ITS GREA5T"
Pros: This program installed fast, without a lot of choices, VERY USER FRIENDLY. I was having trouble with my dreamweaver ftp, tried another ftp download trial and it totally was a hassle. and screwed up my computer.
Cons: Help files are on an older windows, not vista, with vista, you don't have help files, don't need them. You also have to add your own sounds if you want sound effects.
Summary: THIS IS THE ANSWER TO YOUR FTP PROBLEMS. AND ITS FREE? THIS PROGRAM WILL EARN THIS PROGRAMS CREATORS A PLACE IN HEAVEN .

Summary: Easy to install, Fast to load. It is very stable and reliable. I've used it for years on several PCs and it has never given me any problems at all. Drag and drop makes uploading or downloading quick and easy.
