Simple, no-nonsense, handy timer utility with a cool, customizable interface. Can be used like an oven timer, alarm clock, or stopwatch. Plays wav, mp3, midi files, or any of several built-in sounds as an alarm. Can optionally display a custom, scrolling, LED-type text message when the alarm sounds to remind you why you set the timer initially. Use as an alarm clock to wake you up or remind you when it is a certain time of day.

Version 3.6 is a bug fixing release.

This stopwatch application may be somewhat of a one-trick pony, but it does provide a couple of neat features for no cash. Cool Timer's easy-to-understand interface can be programmed to count down from any number of hours, minutes, and seconds you specify. Once the time is up, it will play a MP3, WAV, or MIDI file of your choice. This app's feature set is by no means gigantic, but we really liked the tool for customizing the color scheme of the timer's background, LCD, and buttons. The main window can also be resized to a larger view. Cool Timer's focus is certainly very narrow, but folks seeking an attractive, simple, and free stopwatch program will find it a suitable choice.

  Pros: Does exactly what it is supoused to do and it's freeware.

  Cons: Yeah, a little color change would be nice. :p

  "Cool Timer 3.6 is very cool."

  Pros: The size of the timer can be adjusted and you can put message when the Timer reach 00:00:00. Its very very very cool. I like it.

  Cons: There is nothing that i don't like.
