This application cleans some sections of your system, although it's rather substandard compared to others like it. CleanUp deletes your browser's history, cookies, caches, the Recycle Bin, and recent lists, although the latter isn't specific. During testing, the application doesn't clear away each of the areas it claims. Our browser history and the recent documents list remained after its cleaning process and a system reboot. Its torpid interface lets you select files on your PC for deletion, although this function doesn't appear to work either. CleanUp is significantly deficient in features and functioning. Users can easily find other software with far more dexterity on the market.

Purple Parrot CleanUp removes certain types of information that Windows regularly stores on your computer. This history includes sites visited on the Internet, programs run from the start menu command line, and temporary files created by various programs. Purple Parrot CleanUp program also deletes all those pesky index.dat files and recreates them on boot as empty files.
