Although it's not the fastest-paced space shooter in the galaxy, Clash N Slash has some things in its favor. Your goal is to defend your home planet from the throng of alien invaders, which come at you from all sides. But even as you get deeper within the demo's allotted levels, your enemies don't get any faster or more cunning; therefore, it's rather simple to eradicate them, especially once you upgrade to more powerful weapons. Still, we can't argue with the game's pleasing graphics and well-done, energetic soundtrack. Clash N Slash doesn't offer advanced features such as a level editor, but you will find a few basics, including the ability to play in windowed mode, adjust the detail of the graphics, and configure the volume. Hard-core gamers might find this one too simple, but younger players and folks new to the space-shooter genre are likely to find some merit.
