This screensaver is part of an official series based on stills from the recent films of J.R.R. Tolkien s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. It features Aragorn, son of Arathorn, son of Isildur, heir to the throne of Gondor. Or as he s known to the ladies, Viggo Mortensen. The slide show consists of a handful of full-size images and overlays that show off Mortensen s wolfish good looks. But the lack of settings and musical accompaniment may disappoint even Lord of the Rings die-hards. We especially missed the films stirring score. Nevertheless, Tolkien trufans may enjoy collecting all the screensavers in this series and displaying them with a screensaver manager. It s not quite like visiting Middle Earth, but for those cubicle-bound, daydreaming of the plains of Arda, it s not a bad substitute.
