Publisher's description

Changes your Desktop picture at a specified interval without having to logout.
Can choose a picture at random, or choose each picture in sequence.
Coalesces pictures from multiple directories so you don't have to move all your pictures to one directory. (Sub-directories are not searched, you must add them as a separate entry.)
Will notice additions and removals to any directory without having to restart the application.
Allows you to browse bundles, so that you can include pictures from ScreenSavers or other Applications.
Can change the Desktop at application startup so you don't have to wait for the first time interval to expire. (Good option to have when you have ChangeDesktop installed as a Login Item.)
"One Shot" mode. Your Desktop picture will be changed and then the application will quit.
