Pros
Installed easily and comes with a web interface for remote administration. Installs as a Windows service and runs well on XP. Enables secure FTP administration with multiple protocols. Educational version only $3!

None that I could see so far.

Truely I never used it completetly. I did set it up and it worked fine. Log in worked but I could not download files.

Pros
I had Cerberus FTP server installed and working in under 5 minutes. The interface is clean, responsive and easy to navigate. Adding users and configuring file access was quick and intuitive and I loved how easy it was to enable encryption.
Cons
It's a minor issue for me but the server has a remote web administration feature that is functional but doesn't provide all of the features of the Windows graphical interface.
Summary
If you want to setup an FTP server with a minimum of hassle then I highly recommend giving Cerberus a try.

Pros
free, great program, have only used for personal use (as TOS demands) but have had great luck. Can have many users, many logons, and security has been good (though I run a firewall). Good program.
Cons
Doesn't work well with firefox. I make use of port 21, and it works great in IE, but FF it has issues. When you access the server you need to reload (refresh) the page and it works fine. Has confused new ftp users. has worked fine with standard ftp clients.

Cerberus is very capable for hosting your own FTP server.
It's easy to set up and it has some very good features.
You can easily understand its Admin Panel. Remarkably this program can handle connections very good.
I recommend it!
It's free for non-commercial hosting.

Summary
This application is very good for hosting a File Transfer Protocol server! Easy to use and easy to maintain and admin.
Cerberus FTP Server has a very good layout compared to other FTP servers with boring looks.
I really recommend this program.
