This application is packed with organizational tools to keep you on top of your game, though reminders aren't factored in. Calendar and Day Planner (USA Edition) isn't just a date book. This visually appealing software also provides Web browsing and quick link buttons to several of the most popular news, sports, and map sites around, including CNN, MSN, The Weather Channel and Mapquest. You can instantly access Hotmail, Outlook Express, Yahoo Mail and other e-mail accounts with one click. Its date book features aren't to be shirked, though. You can set appointments, then view and print the calendar by day, week or month. We only wish it included a reminder tool for scheduled appointments.

Calendar and Day Planner comes with a few graphical images, but you can personalize it by uploading your own JPEG images. We like that you determine the way the program changes from one window to the next. Offering several choices, you can have it slide into the next window using blinds, zooming, squashing, and other transitions. With not much to complain about, we readily recommend you give this personal management tool a try.

Tools included: photo calendar and planner/organizer with reminders and to-do list, address book, Web browser with pop-up blocker, built in Desktop and Explorer access, and e-mail program launcher. The personal information manager (PIM) can be used as a combined calendar, diary, organizer, and reminder. Keep track of dates, appointments, and annual events like birthdays, to-do items, and notes. Contact manager keeps track of friends, family, and business contacts. You can store mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, Web links, and phone information and add some notes for each contact. Internet Explorer-compatible Web browser with built-in pop-up blocker. This no-nonsense pop-up blocker blocks pop-ups and pop-unders when you're surfing with eCentral.
