True to its name, this free screensaver takes you on a tour of Caladesi Island, situated off the west coast of Florida. The pictures focus on the island's natural scenery, and all appear to be of consistently good quality. However, we question some of the developer's aesthetic decisions. For instance, we don't know how many people are going to really be interested in viewing shots of a half-dead cactus or a horde of unindentified insects. We also think some theme music might help liven things up. While you will find a nice library of transition effects, you can't set the delay between images or choose a random sequence. Also, some of the transitions are quite slow and may frustrate impatient users. This screensaver is certainly worth trying, and it's cheap to buy, but it's not a must-have download by any stretch.
