Pros: 1:Superior firewall with Intrusion Detection System(IDS)
2:Very Light On system resource(my PC now start up even more faster)
3:you can view "Event info" on a particular intrusion.
4:It protect you application.
Cons: 1:one glitch which is my BlackIce taskbar icon sometime kept on showing the BlckIce engine has stopped.
2:It lacks of Java,Javascript,ActiveX,VBscript blocking(If it can implement this feature,it will make this firewall even more superior).

Pros: this program is basically a firewall with a intrusion detection system (ids), i found it to be quiet intersting to know how many websites place things on your computer that is suspicious, as a result blackice stoped me from accessing amazon.com! if you are security conscious and would like an addition to the normal firewall i think that this program is perfect. and thank you to all the previous reviewers for providing a program key, and they do work, belive me.
Cons: with this program, the computer cannot go on standbye or hibrinate, its something the manufacturer working on solving.

Pros: After wasting money on other like programs, I'm proud to say Black Ice beats them all. McAfee, Norton, Zone Alarm etc. Black Ice runs flawlessly in the background without utilizing much system resources. The problem with other like programs is they allow you to become infected and then scramble to clean up the mess they were suppose to protect you from in the first place with new patch releases etc. They are all scams! But not Black Ice! It gives you complete control over your system. With settings ranging from cautious to Paraniod, you can gain as much control over your system as you want. If the computer wants to beep, black Ice will ask you if you want to let it! It's that effective!!
Finally a program that gives back control!!
