BlackBerry Alerts Alerts you of missed Voicemail, missed phone calls, SMS, PIN messages and E-mails. Provides a repeating audible alert along with LED control to alert you of missed messages. Features: Play audio through profiles means you can use your existing ring tones you already have or use the escalating alert that the program comes with. This ringtone can be set to repeat every 1, 3 or 9 minutes. Customize ring tones for each type of alert. Color LED Alerts - for those with devices that support color LEDs (81XX, 88XX) you can configure the program to play alerts using the LED and selecting a color. This way you can have for example email as blue, missed calls as purple, sms as turquoise, etc.. This is a great feature and makes the program a must even without repeating audible alerts. Voicemail detection to help alert you of those times when you miss a voicemail because you are out of coverage or downloading data. (may not work on all carriers)note: When program first runs it will create new profile entries. Edit this by selecting a tone and setting the volume. "Doesn't Work with Blackberry 8703e"
Pros: Downloaded ok, installed ok, looked ok. but got errors when someone called. Didnt hear any tones. Probably a great program just didnt work on my phone.

Pros: I LOVE Blackberry Alerts! It's worth every penny I paid for this software! Now I don't have to keep checking my Blackberry to see if I have messages or voicemail. This software has very nice little audible and color light coded alerts that let me know (repeatedly and adjustable) whether I have emails, SMS, missed calls, or PIN messages. I don't know why Blackberry didn't add this feature but I sure am glad this developer came up with this cool software! I'd be lost without it! Also I have a Blackberry 8800 and it works great!

"it's super buggy on my pearl 8110"
Pros: SUPER COOL to be able to assign RGB values. I'm a designer and that just blew me away. The alerts themselves are highly customizable as long as the program is functioning properly.
Cons: Doesn't always do as I say no matter how much time I spend setting and resetting the options.
Summary: I had it for a few days and it started to blink the SMS color randomly even when I had no messages. I went in to the log to find that this app is suddenly (though wasn't always) under the (wrong) impression that I am receiving about one txt per minu... read more >>
