BitTorrent hadn't seen a major update in about two years, but that was before it bought out uTorrent. Now, adopting its new sibling's interface has completely reinvigorated the original BitTorrent client.
Previously, BT had lacked features that other torrent innovators had spent time testing and investing in. Now, in one fell swoop, BT has access to everything it lacked. You can pick which files in a torrent you want to download, throttle your Internet connection to suit your whims, muck about with the Web UI and, basically, do everything that uTorrent can do.
There's an RSS tracker and search bar, just like in uTorrent, but there's where we encounter one key difference. Where uTorrent's search takes you to the MiniNova torrent site, BitTorrent's goes to BitTorrent.com, a pay-for-most-content site. There's also a menu bar item in the BitTorrent client called Get Stuff, with links to Movies, TV, Music, and Games at the BitTorrent content site.
Without a doubt, BitTorrent has taken drastic steps to reverse course and unsink its sinking ship. Although BT still eats more memory than its new sibling, it's hogging significantly less than before. The install file reflects the new code, shrinking from nearly 6MB for version 5 to less than 1MB for version 6.
BT also comes with a small piece of software called DNA. The BT site calls it protocol for "Delivery Network Acceleration," but beyond a nebulous description, it's hard to tell what exactly it does.

"On of the best BitTorrent client for Windows!"
Pros: There are a lot of bittorrent clients outhere...
You may chose BitTorrent because:
- it's fast
- it's stable (i used this client for 2 years and I never noticed a crash)
- it's compatible (probably all trakers support BitTorrent)
- it's addware free (despite some comments I see over here this one is virus and addware free ... I tested this product with last version of: Avast, AVG, BitDefender, Avira and NOD32).
Now some words about editor review regarding DNA (I am always asking myself how it's posible to work for such a big website and write reviews when you obviously know nothing about network and computers):
BitTorrent DNA is a peer-accelerated content delivery SERVICE that enables faster and more reliable downloads from websites, providing users access to richer and higher quality content, and ensuring a superior user experience for streaming video and many other applications. This means it's a service based on a peer-to-peer network that brings to content publishers the posibility to distribute content faster, easier ands cheaper than using http or ftp servers for download like this website does... :)
Cons: You may also want to try the following bittorrent clients:
- uTorrent
- Azureus
- Bitcomet
Maybe they are better maybe not. At the end it's a matter of taste if you chose BitTorrent, uTorrent, Azureus or other application...

Pros: man, that was a fast download! I just un installed Shareaza after trying all night to download something my Lime wire could'nt even get. I read these reviews & decided to give Bit Torrent a try (thanks to "jfmayii's review), and I'm glad I did!!! The interface is so cute, lol. Not cluttered & easy to understand right away. I also like how it gives us a few trustworthy sites to download from before install being some places are imitating their software. Obviously they care about their customers!
Cons: absolutely nothing!

"A GOOD PROGRAM FOR FINDING SOME OF THE HARDER TO GET STUFF."
Pros: I decided to use this along with btjunkie and the piratebay to experiment with something different and i did find and download some hard to find movie files that I never come across on limewire .
Cons: For some reason roxio easy media creator 9 won't add these video files to a disc to burn. I'm told " there are no media files in this folder that match the filter settings . " To change the filter settings click the filter for media type buttons . Windows media player will play these files with no problem and if anyone reading this review has any helpful suggestions as far as how do you change filter settings and where are they please let me know or else I would rate this program higher than I have .

"Not easy to use and full of spyware!"
Cons: I downloaded this due to the positive feedback....unfortunately the programme did not work...and Kaspersky anti-virus (full version) alerted me to several browser hijack attempts and a Trojan! I had to do a full virus scan and a system clean with several re-starts in safe mode to get rid of this programme. I would not recommend this programme whatsoever.
