BitComet is a fast and easy-to-use BitTorrent/HTTP/FTP download client. It is P2P file-sharing freeware and one of the most popular P2P protocols designed for high-speed distribution. BitComet supports simultaneous downloads, DHT networks (trackerless), a download queue, selected downloads in the Torrent package, fast-resume, disk caching, speed limits, auto port mapping, proxies, and IP filtering. Version 1.02 is a bug fixing release.
Note: This software comes with Google toolbar, that can be installed or uninstalled at the user's choice.

"P2P + download manager = it is indispensable"

Pros: It downloads everything from the Web: it supports HTTP, FTP and Bittorrent downloads. It is like to have "OrbitDownloader + uTorrent" in a single application! There is an optional add-on to connect to the "EDonkey net" even. It auto-resumes interrupted downloads (when there is a black-out or when the telephone line breaks off). It integrates very well into Internet Explorer and Firefox (without using "Flashgot" extension). You can download from the Web
Flash videos also.
Features summary: DHT; NAT/Firewall configuration; UPnP port mapping; protection against ARP cheating attacks from LAN; NAT Trasversal via UDP; protocol encryption; hard disk protection via automatic disk cache.
Memory consumption: it requires max 32 MB when it downloads 2 torrents.
Cons: There is a bit of advertisement. But it is not annoying.
