This free P2P application lets you find and download files using a unique system. On the left side of the three-pane interface, you choose from a long list of Web pages that contain files you can download. Different sites offer different types of files, and the subject matter is usually apparent by the name. When you opt to download a file, a smaller file appears on your desktop, which you then open in BitComet. After a bit of a wait, the application aggregates users that have your requested file and starts a swarm download that gradually grows in sources and speed. We like the enormous variety of files available for download, but aside from paging through categories, there are not many ways to search for specific files. Still, the addition of a preview function helps. The BitComet client offers chat capabilities, stats trackers, and the ability to bookmark your favorite sites. Overall, we think BitComet and the BitTorrent system are a great alternative to most file-sharing apps, and the fact that this download is free sure doesn't hurt.Publisher's description

"works ok but there is better"
Pros: if you are giving this a go for the first time it can be a bit confusing when you are only used to limewire say..
but it has so much more to offer in the way of movies , games..well everything
you can also go to any Torrent site and download from it..
Cons: very slow download speed if you have dial up..
uTORRENT is much better and much smaller footprint (lighter on resources)
WARNING you can still download stuff that is infected just as easy as any file share program..
i recommend using PeerGuardian 2

Pros: I have always liked this client..
Cons: ..It could be just my antivirus program, but antivir (avira) reports a trojan trying to load a webpage within bitcomet?
I simply denied it access and the torrent client continued to work.
I still prefer utorrent.

Pros: Good picture
Cons: Errors which I can not shift, also it is very slow and when I checked the speed it was very slow.
