From Atlantis Technologies :Bid Whist is a partnership trick-taking game that is very popular among African Americans. It is played with a standard 52 card deck plus 2 jokers, for a total of 54 cards. The two jokers must be distinct: one is called the big joker and the other is the little joker. There are 4 players consisting of two teams of two; each player sits opposite their partner. The game starts with each team at zero, and the object of the game is to reach a score 7 or more points, or force the other team to go negative 7 or more points. Points are scored by bidding for and winning tricks, which in this game are called books. BidWhist 1.0 has very easy to use GUI and a very fast game engine. This game is played among 4 players and the players sitting opposite are partners. Each player gets 12 cards. Then based on those cards he has to make a bid. The highest bidder get additional six cards known as Kitty and a chance to name a trump suit. After getting the Kitty the winning bidder has to discard any six cards and the start the play.BidWhist 1.0 is developed by Atlantis Technologies. Continuous efforts going on to improve the standard of the game. All the customers who purchase BidWhist will be given future versions of the game totally free of cost.The trial version of the software is also provided. In the trial version you can not make a bid and your partner does not coordinate with you while plying. Also no team can win or loose the game because the scores are not calculated in the trial version. All these features are enabled in the full version of BidWhist 1.0.
