In version 1.3.1.2, files are stored in a file repository and moved into a workspace for editing. Also you right-click to convert to add to repository as PDF.

Pros
The design is wonderful. The user interface is elegant and intuitive. The creation of virtual folders called "collections" is a fantastic idea and to me, the main selling point. Using the product is simple...or at least it should be.
Cons
The creation of collections is buggy.
Summary
If this product worked, it would be my favorite of its kind. However, the main selling point of Benubird, the ability to make virtual folders called "collections" is riddled with bugs. Newly created collections will not display their contents upon selecting them with a left click. Right clicking said collections will bring up your entire library as opposed to just the contents that define the collection. The context menu is also buggy.
Sometimes, restarting Benubird will cause the collections you created to work properly, sometimes it will just cause the collection to disappear. Even when the collection does end up working after a restart, the collection does not have the name you gave it. These problem makes Benubird unusable, and it's a shame.
