BearShare lets you search for, download, and share files with everyone on Gnutella's global peer-to-peer network. This program works with MP3, MPEG, AVI, ASF, MOV, JPEG, GIF, and other file types. It features full documentation (installed with the program), slick graphics, and a user interface that makes searching, downloading, and file sharing easy. It also features upload bandwidth controls, enhanced connection management, and improved downloading.

This version features a bug fix for an intermittent defect causing premature termination and self-connection. It also includes completely revised Help Center resources, included both in the program and online, with FAQs for each program section and a new user guide.
