"It isn't the original BearShare"
Pros: There are no pros.
Cons: It doesn't even connect to the gnutella network, instead limiting you to a proprietary network formerly known as iMesh. The limited selection of music you can rent can be revoked at any time for any reason and you have no recourse or refund.
Summary: This isn't file sharing software, It's a music rental service owned by a former RIAA exec. The only thing people have reported liking about this thing is the social networking features, and you can get that elsewhere in more reliable forms for free.

"It advertises as free but isn't."
Pros: It is easy to use.
Cons: After 14 days (free trial) I was informed that I had to pay to continue to use it.
Summary: if you are going to pay, there are better sites out there...

"good detail on results... but not very many results"
Pros: easily finds entire compilations (albums, mixtapes, etc.)
provides good info on artists, albums and other info
easy to searchCons: not many search results except for those you have to pay for (legally)
Summary: doesn't matter how easy it is to search or how detailed music info is if you dont get much reslults

"I like to call it garbage at its finest"
Pros: gets you music (sometimes)
Cons: Takes forever to download stuff and some music you cant download without paying like $20 a month or something
Summary: I have used this before and loved it but after a week it said i had to pay then later i then tryd it again and the whole thing was horrible sorry but this software doesnt do it for me go with LimeWire 5 and i would even recommend buying LimeWire Pro... read more >>
