From MusicLab :BearShare has implemented partial file sharing which enables users to get the files they want faster. This version also detects when users aren't using their CPU and automatically boosts the power dedicated to downloading while the computer remains on. Bearshare lets you search for, download, and share files with everyone on the global Gnutella peer-to-peer information network. This program works with MP3, MPEG, AVI, ASF, MOV, JPEG, GIF, OGG, and all other file types. It features full documentation (installed with the program), slick graphics, and a user interface that makes searching, downloading, and file sharing easy. It also features upload bandwidth controls, enhanced connection management, and improved downloading. Version 4.6 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"It's good, but watch out for WhenU..."
Pros: It's a good program. If you have a reasonably fast internet connection, you can download files very quickly. Probably the best file sharing program around.
Cons: Unfortunately, the free version of this software is a parent application for an ad program called "Save!" You'll need to install this to install bearshare. And it won't uninstall until both bearshare, and weather cast (another program you must install) are deleted. Even after "Save!" is uninstalled. An adware program still remains on your computer. To get rid of this program, called "WhenU" simply run an adware removal program (I use ad-aware), and delete the tracking devices.

"i think free musics cool. i recommended to anyone so they can share their music."
Pros: i think bearshare will give me a better experienece to share music with my family and friend and that is legal. i never done this before but why not try it out because my friend said its cool so now im here today trying it out. thanks bearshare!

Pros: Not really sure, still trying to find some good things, no lie
Cons: Too much to type. Basic problem is, oversimplification. I have been a dedicated bearsharer for years and the older version was great, but they decided to "update it". Well, old saying comes to mind, "If it ain't broken don't fix it!"
