"Seems to contain spyware--download with caution"
Pros: I never got as far as playing the game, so nothing to say here.
Cons: Trying to install and play the game set off a few spyware alerts that made me unwilling to continue:
1. While installing, it tries to add a 'run at startup' program to your computer. There's no reason for a game to do this, and you're left with an unknown program doing unknown things whenver your computer is on.
2. When you start a game, it tries to add a website with a sketchy name (0.0.1) to your trusted websites list, and opens a window to that site. I can't emphasize enough how dangerous this is--once an website is trusted, whoever owns that website can do pretty much anything they want to your computer.
These two things might be entirely innocent, but at the very least, they're suspicious. It would be unwise to install this on any computer except one that you use for nothing but gaming. For safety's sake, assume that once you've installed this game, anything you type on your computer (like credit card numbers) will be read by criminals. Really, I'm not sure how a reputable site like cnet ("safe, trusted and spyware free") can host something like this.
