This game offers some nice features for strenghthening your poker skills. BVS Video Poker greatly resembles the poker machines found in casinos, with a list of payout odds toward the top and a view of the five cards toward the bottom.Although the full game provides a number of variations on video poker, the demo restricts you to either the Jacks or Better or Deuces Wild versions of five-card draw. The graphics and sound effects are mostly rudimentary, although you can make basic tweaks to the interface by changing the texture and color of the background or the size and style of the cards. To help you with your game, the program analyzes your hand and makes suggestions, and it can show you a list of errors you've made.
We like that BVS Video Poker tracks statistics such as hands won and accuracy, but high rollers will miss the ability to change the maximum bet. Both beginners and seasoned poker players will get some benefit from this application.

Version: BVS Video Poker 1.5.1
Pros: There was barely anything good about this game. Try World Poker Championship.
Cons: Trust me do not waste your time with this program.

Version: BVS Video Poker 1.5.1
Pros: I like playing the hand and then having the machine tell me if it was the correct play or not. It is great to hit BEST PLAY to see what you should have done. Easy explanations of hands, lots of variations available to me. I liked the free trial period which meant they had a lot of confidence in their software. You can pay $20 for casino game software but it does not help you play correctly like this one does.
Use this software for 2 - 3 weeks before going to Vegas and you won't feel dumb when sitting down at the machine wondering what game to play or more importantly, what cards to keep and throw away.
Cons: I wish they had an option to play the distracting sounds of a casino where you hear other machines klinging and Klanging. It could get annoying at home but it would make it more realistic to how it plays at a casino, especially the Wheel of Fortune sounds that these video poker machines seem to be near in vegas.
Also wish these guys did a similar 21 and Paigow poker game!
