This is the macintosh port of a PC utilty by the same name. In a nutshell, this will convert an existing installation of Baldur's Gate or Tales of the Sword Coast to an installation of BG2... Why might one want to do that? Well here's a brief list
- play the entire BG saga with one character... including a kit based char started out at level 1
- play in higher (if unsupported) resolutions
- level limits removed for BG/ToSC and access to full spell book
- kitted NPCs for BG1/ToSC
- Take advantage of the stability of BG2's engine relative to the original bg1 and especially of ToSC
- Play BG1 natively on OS X
What's new in this version: This is the first mac version.. It'll report a ton of errors and say the conversion is 53% finished; however the conversion is full and it's playable.
