From Steve Murphy :AWC is designed to be a one stop shop for displaying images on your desktop wallpaper. A configurable timer automatically changes the desktop to display your pictures in the way that you want to see them. Just select one or more directories containing picture files and AWC will create a list of all the images contained in them, randomly select one and format it using a combination of the many available options. The displayed image can be resized for the best fit to the screen, optionally maintaining its aspect ratio, or displayed actual size.
You are not limited to the centre of the screen when displaying a picture, as is usually the case in windows, but can choose to display the picture in any of the four corners of the screen or centered on one of the edges. Just open the Preferences screen from the File menu and you can set exactly how you want your wallpaper to appear. Image formats supported are BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, PCX, TGA, RLE. Version 4.1.0 is a maintenance release.

Pros: Small size even though I have seen smaller.
Cons: Only basic functions.
Looks very rudimentary.
The interface is very poor designed.Summary: I changed my mind and I don't like this program at all.
You get what you pay for. There are so many better ones out there that work better even if they cost a few bucks. -

"Even more brilliant than before"
Pros: Very fast and doesn't seem to have any limits to how many files you can have.
Can pick files from lots of individual directories or just subdirs of one.Cons: He's finally started charging for it
