From Steve Murphy :The Automatic Wallpaper Changer is designed to do one thing well, allow you to change your desktop wallpaper on a timed basis. The displayed image can be stretched for best fit to the screen, optionally maintaining its aspect ratio, or displayed at its actual size. When displaying a picture the user can choose to display it in any of the four corners of the screen, centered on one edge, or tiled.
When resizing you can pick the resizing method that works best for your pictures from Bilinear re-sampling up to Lanczos and Catmull-Rom. You can further refine the list of files to display by filtering on file date or age and by file name. Image types supported: JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG, RLE, TGA, and PCX.
What's new in this version:
Version 3.0.4 has Boolean system settings are now stored in integer format in registry so that switching between locales with different languages doesn't cause an error on start up. Added Redisplay previous option. Various other minor changes.
