"Great Program that Does Just What I Needed!!!"
Version: AutoCAD Drawing Viewer 3.2.3
Pros
Small footprint, runs fast, adequate documentation, does not require the expensive AutoCAD or Adobe Acrobat and best of all - it's FREE!
Cons
The documentation is a bit weak but I found more detailed documentation on the publisher's web site at http://www.getfilez.com/dwgview.pdf This document includes step by step instructions on how to create PDFs from AutoCAD drawing files and how to convert AutoCAD drawings to different file formats.
Summary
I've been looking for a free AutoCAD Tool for displaying drawings, creating PDFs, printing drawings and converting drawings for quite some time and am very happy to have finally found one that satisfies all three of my needs!

"Barely works"
Version: AutoCAD Drawing Viewer 3.2.3
Pros
Barely works. I like the B&W PDFs, though.
Cons
- Installs unwanted mal/spy/crapware
- Installs ActiveX-objects / extensions in all my browsers
- Changes browsersettings
- Crude interface
- No instructions or help filesSummary
Without instructions or help files it takes a lot of trial and error to get the right output.

"Basic functionality"
Version: AutoCAD Drawing Viewer 2
Pros
The software allows the user to view .dwg files and attributes. If you double-click on the image, you get a full screen view that will pan and zoom. I found this out by accident. Looks like the original AutoCAD screen.
Cons
No instructions or help files - and the website doesn't help either. Print output is B&W. Freezes for no apparent reason.

"Product does not install, register itself or deinstall correctly on XP Pro"
Version: AutoCAD Drawing Viewer 2
Cons
When I installed the product (even after a reboot) on Windows XP Pro the product did not register itself correctly. In order to open up a *.dwg file I needed to do and open with an point to the executable file. The deinstall was riddled with errors as well. Not a favorite pick.
