Pros
This program shows you what you need to know about the quality, size, etc of your audio files & the encoder used to create them. It also allows you to filter the results of your scans by whatever you want so you can see the files you want.
Cons
None, really. It is a straight forward tool that works as stated.
Summary
I have collected many MP3s over the years and continue to acquire them from various sources. I like to use this tool along with MP3tag & LameXP Audio Encoder to check the quality of the file, make the tag's information accurate and then improve the file quality as needed. Audio Identifier allows you to find all the needed info about your MP3 files so that you can insure your collection is of the quality you want, what encoder was used to create them and the options the encoder used while creating them. When Audio Encoder is used with the other two programs, you have all the basic tools needed to handle your MP3 files/collection needs.
