Purchased this program as Microsoft Word would not open on my XP computer due to registry corruption. Working with no problems.
I will be keeping an 'eye out' on Ashampoo products. -

I love this software! Let me count the ways: 1) It's light and super fast, 2) It converts the "other" Office product seamlessly, 3) It's features are easy to understand, and 4) It saved me lots of money! If you're looking for a good alternative to the more expensive popular product, this is it!!

Easy and light, ideal for netbooks. After installing it an update found that's supporting greek language (for the text maker). That was really good.
Cons
Not supporting the latest microsoft's office 2010 file format yet (.docx). I hope to be an update soon but not demanding new purchase (like office 2012).
Summary
If you are subcribed to ashampoo's newsletter it's worth it at a discount for a final price of 10-15 euro's (maybe and a little more).

I tried to install and evaluate, because I got a new machine and I don't want to pay a lot of money in a licence of the other known suite, and has a lot of tools that I never used. And I liked. Now I'm a new user (and fan) of this very good suite. - Eu tentei instalar e avaliar, porque e comprei uma nova maquina e eu nao quero pagar um monte de dinheiro em uma licenca da outra conhecida suite, e ter um monte de ferramentas que eu nunca usei. E eu gostei. Agora sou um novo usuario (e fa) desta suite muito boa. (Os erros de portugues existente aqui sao porque o sistema de avaliacao nao permite nossos carcteres, somente os do teclado padrao americano, pra que isso CNET?)
